MY INTERNSHIP IN CANADA
An uproarious political satire in the vein of Veep, this inspired French-Canadian import forsakes corridors of power in favor of rural backroads. Haitian intern Souverain (Irdens Exantus) arrives in the modest Northern Quebec offices of Steve Guibord (Patrick Huard) just as the independent Member of Parliament has been caught unaware by his defining moment. With Canada contemplating military action abroad, the fates (which evidently have a wicked sense of humor) have conspired to bestow him with the deciding vote. Intent on gauging his constituents' stances on war, Guibord's farcical barnstorming runs afoul of myriad special interest groups and one First Nations roadblock.
Running Time: 108 Minutes
PLEASE NOTE: MY INTERNSHIP IN CANADA is in French with English Subtitles
