CHARLIE THISTLE (14 Minutes) Bragi Schut Jr. USA In the Department of Normality, Charlie Thistle is a little unhappy with his work. However, a promotion to a new title allows him to make some…gasp…changes. GOOD ADVICE (GODA RAD, 14 Minutes) Andreas Tibblin Sweden Facing the imminent arrival of a new baby brother, young Rasmus decides that the only solution to his parental predicament is to run away from home. But first, he must make a tape giving his new brother a little advice. My favorites were the Bakery and the boy who ran away to the attic. Once again the evening of shorts was a winner! Also, it's a pleasure to see the films at the Sherwood Auditorium. 27-Jan-10: jh - Rating: 5 How does a kid get across to his parents that they need to be better parents? In GOOD ADVICE Rasmus figures out a way. And speaking of bad parents, how about the bird that adopted the mouse? THE MOUSE THAT SOARED was hilarious. Just two of many excellent shorts. 26-Jan-10: Georgi - Rating: 5 I love this evening always. So impressed with the young filmmaker from Torrey Pines and loved the Bakery film.
