Great film, beautifully shot and an interesting story, wish my Great Uncles and Father-In-Law were around so that I could encourage them to see this film. I highly recommend it for train enthusiasts and anyone who just wants to experience a great “ride”.

As much as I had hoped this would be special it was not. Too many scenes of the big turning wheel. The editing was awful. No consistency between Galgary and Montreal. History was interesting but lacked depth. Too many repetitive pictures and stories. Still do want to take the ride to Banff and Lake Louise.

Chug chug chug chug, chug chug chug chug. After enough chugs you get sleepy. That’s what happened to me last night at the Fleet. Despite the beautiful scenery, interesting history, and beautiful Kodak 15/70 negative, a film that should have dazzled, instead disappointed. It seemed more a documentary than an IMAX eye-popper. As an aside, I was impressed by the questions asked by fellow members of the Cinema Society.
