BETWEEN THE FOLDS features a cast of fine artists and eccentric scientists (from MIT and NASA) who have devoted their lives to the unlikely medium of modern origami. Through their determination to reinterpret the world in paper, they arouse a fascinating mix of sensibilities towards art, form, expressiveness, creativity and meaning.

Heralded as "exquisite", "fascinating", "truly inspiring", "well-crafted", "magnificent" and "simply exquisite", BETWEEN THE FOLDS is written, produced and directed by Vanessa Gould.

PLEASE NOTE: Tonight's presentation is in association with San Diego's cherished Mingei International Museum, who recently presented the largest "origami Masterworks" exhibit ever assembled in the United States.

ALSO PLEASE NOTE: Robert J. Lang, a former physicist and one of the greatest and most celebrated paperfolders in the world, will be making a special guest appearance to answer questions and lead the audience in creating a simple origami model.
