Our 40th Season Finale

Salute to Filmmaker Denny Tedesco and

""They were the stone cold rock and roll professionals and there may never, ever be a group of rock and roll musicians of that caliber again"".

Jimmy Webb, Composer

THE WRECKING CREW, first presented at the Cinema Society in 2011, is a documentary film that tells the story of the unsung musicians that pro- vided the backbeat, the bottom and the swinging melody that drove many of the number one hits of the 1960s.

It didn1t matter if it was Frank Sinatra, The Mon- kees, The Byrds or The Beach Boys, these dedicated musicians brought the flair and musicianship that made The West Coast sound and American music the dominant cultural force not only here, but around the world.

A fun, touching and moving tribute to the music, the times and to those secret power hitters of the West Coast recording scene, THE WRECKING CREW is directed by Denny Tedesco as a loving memoir to his father Tommy Tedesco, one of the key guitarists of the Wrecking Crew.

Running Time: 95 Minutes / Not Rated

PLEASE NOTE: Ballots for the ""Society's Finest Award"", allowing members to select their favorite film from the 2023-2024 season, will be handed out at this program.
